Recorded for the most patriotic day of the year, National Holiday is a sonic obituary for the American psyche. It’s improvised jazz, or what’s left of it after a prolonged exposure to COVID, social media, and late-stage capitalism.

This is our lockdown record, extended by circumstance. As improvisors we never intended to work this way: file-sharing instead of standing next to each other. But we’re having enough fun listening to the result that it would be a CRIME not to impose this on the world.
